Cafe Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Cafe Attendant to join our team at The Indigo Road Hospitality Group. As a Cafe Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience in our cafe.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and Serve Coffee Beverages: Create, prepare, and serve coffee beverages based on recipes and record drink orders accurately.
- Food and Beverage Service: Receive and serve food and drink orders to guests seated at the bar, accept and process guest payment, and report cash and credit card gratuities received to comply with the IRS standards of reporting income.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar, including the coffee station and bar tops, wash and sterilize glassware, set up and breakdown all bar items.
- Inventory Management: Assist with the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies and report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to the restaurant manager.
- Guest Service: Maintain a friendly and engaging manner with all guests, wipe down tables, chairs, counters, and other surfaces in the cafe throughout the day.
- Product Rotation: Rotate and maintain product to sell dates.
- Positive Energy and Teamwork: Have a positive energy, be ready to assist fellow support staff, and work as a team player.
- Age and Experience: Be 18 years of age or older and have at least one year of prior restaurant or relevant experience.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and all guests.
- Schedule Flexibility: A flexible schedule to work mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical Demands: Constant standing/walking with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting.
