Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cafe Attendant to join our team at The Flatiron Hotel. As a Cafe Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, preparing and serving coffee beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and serve guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Coffee Preparation: Prepare and serve coffee beverages according to recipes and standards, maintaining a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Receive and serve food and drink orders to guests, process payments, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including wiping down tables, chairs, and counters, and restocking supplies.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
Requirements
  • Age and Experience: Be at least 18 years old and have at least one year of prior restaurant or relevant experience.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with managers, employees, and guests.
  • Scheduling: Be available to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to stand and walk for long periods, with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting.
