Position Summary: We are in search of a highly qualified and driven Thyroid Endocrinologist to become a part of the Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism division within the Department of Medicine. In this role, you will be instrumental in diagnosing, treating, and managing various thyroid conditions, including thyroid cancer, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, and autoimmune thyroid disorders.
This position will contribute to the growth of the Thyroid Cancer Program and the broader Endocrinology division, collaborating with surgeons, radiologists, nuclear medicine experts, oncologists, and pathologists. You will also engage in programmatic initiatives that align with the Medical Center's mission of delivering quality patient care, conducting research, and providing education and community service. While an interest in clinical or translational research is welcomed, it is not a requirement.

The Thyroid Cancer Program is a specialized, multidisciplinary center focusing on thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, and parathyroid disease.
Compensation Philosophy:
We offer a competitive total compensation package that encompasses salary, benefits, and additional incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range reflects various factors considered in compensation decisions, including knowledge, skills, relevant experience, and education. This range includes any applicable incentive payments for this role, along with a comprehensive faculty benefits package.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess:
- Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in thyroid ultrasound and biopsy techniques.
- Board Certification (or eligibility) in Internal Medicine, with specialized training in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
- Fellowship training in Thyroid Endocrinology or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing a wide array of thyroid disorders.
- An unrestricted medical license in California.
- Eligibility for Medical Center Medical Staff Membership.
- A proven track record of excellence in teaching, patient care, and administration.
