Position Summary: We are in search of a proficient and enthusiastic Thyroid Endocrinologist to become part of the Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism division within the Department of Medicine. In this role, you will be instrumental in diagnosing, treating, and managing various thyroid conditions, including thyroid cancer, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, and autoimmune thyroid disorders.
This position will contribute to the growth of the Thyroid Cancer Program and the broader Endocrinology division, collaborating with surgeons, radiologists, nuclear medicine experts, oncologists, and pathologists. Additionally, you will engage in programmatic initiatives that align with the Medical Center's commitment to quality patient care, research, education, and community service. An interest in clinical or translational research is welcomed but not mandatory.

The Thyroid Cancer Program is a highly specialized, multidisciplinary center focusing on thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, and parathyroid disease.
Compensation Structure:
We provide competitive total compensation that encompasses salary, benefits, and additional incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range considers various factors in compensation decisions, including knowledge and skills, relevant experience and training, education and certifications, and other organizational factors. This total pay range includes any applicable incentive payments for this role. A comprehensive faculty benefits package is also available.
Qualifications:
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
- Expertise in thyroid ultrasound and biopsy techniques.
- Board Certification (or eligibility) in Internal Medicine, with specialized training in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
- Completion of a fellowship in Thyroid Endocrinology or a related field.
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing a diverse range of thyroid disorders.
- Unrestricted medical license in California.
- Eligibility for Medical Center Medical Staff Membership.
- A proven record of excellence in teaching, patient care, and administrative roles.
