Position Summary: We are in search of a highly qualified and enthusiastic Thyroid Endocrinologist to become part of the Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism division within the Department of Medicine. In this role, you will be instrumental in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of thyroid-related conditions, such as thyroid cancer, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, and autoimmune thyroid disorders.
This position will contribute to the growth of the Thyroid Cancer Program and the broader Endocrinology division, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team that includes surgeons, radiologists, nuclear medicine experts, oncologists, and pathologists. Participation in programmatic initiatives that align with the Medical Center's mission of delivering quality patient care, research, education, and community service is expected. While an interest in clinical or translational research is welcomed, it is not a prerequisite.

The Thyroid Cancer Program is a highly specialized, multidisciplinary center focusing on thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, and parathyroid disease.
Compensation Philosophy:
We provide competitive total compensation that encompasses salary, benefits, and various incentive programs for our staff. The total compensation range reflects a wide array of factors considered in compensation decisions, including expertise, relevant experience, education, and other organizational factors. This total compensation range includes any applicable incentive payments. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive faculty benefits package.
Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Medical Degree from an accredited institution
- Expertise in thyroid ultrasound and biopsy techniques
- Board Certification (or eligibility) in Internal Medicine, with further training in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism
- Completion of a fellowship in Thyroid Endocrinology or a related field
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing a diverse range of thyroid disorders
- Unrestricted medical license in California
- Eligibility for Medical Center Medical Staff Membership
- A proven record of excellence in teaching, patient care, and administration
