At World Insurance Associates, we are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial insurance team, you will be responsible for managing a high-volume book of insurance business, ensuring all required tasks are completed accurately and on-time.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, providing exceptional service and advocacy to drive client loyalty and retention.
  • Grow client relationships by building strong, professional relationships and providing expert guidance on risk management and insurance solutions.
  • Handle renewals, service requests, claims, billing, and new policies with precision and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the insurance market, underwriting guidelines, and submission procedures to ensure seamless client service.
  • Review all applications, policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with the department manager to obtain renewal business information and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • Three years minimum commercial account management experience required.
  • Property & Casualty License required.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance, required.
  • Possess strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Applied/Epic or similar agency management software experience, preferred.
  • Able to work independently and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members.
  • Self-motivated and driven.
  • Maintain a sense of urgency and ability to work with and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication, including the ability to actively listen and problem-solve with minimal assistance.
  • The ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently, and use discretion surrounding sensitive information.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude.
