Dialysis Nurse Specialist

As a Dialysis Nurse Specialist, you'll play a vital role in our growing national system, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct the care of dialysis patients through the nursing process, ensuring seamless collaboration with the medical team, patients, and their families.
- Provide critical information to physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient condition changes, adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
- Document interventions, supervise care delivery by unlicensed support staff, and educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment side effects, and health promotion.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and accrediting agencies, actively participating in Performance Improvement plans and policy development.
- Obtain patient medical history and medication information, documenting it in the patient's medical record.
