Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Nurse Specialist to join our team at United Digestive. As a key member of our endoscopy center, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized and specialized nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and recognized nursing techniques.
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate nursing care given to patients, ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-direction and initiative.
  • Collaborate with the Registered Nurse Manager to ensure seamless patient care and efficient center operations.
Requirements
  • Current State license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Experience in GI endoscopy preferred, with a strong understanding of endoscopy procedures and patient care.
  • Membership in GI specialty or other local, state, or national professional societies encouraged.
  • Maintains Basic Cardiac Life Support certification and ACLS certification is recommended.
Physical and Mental Demands

The ideal candidate will be able to work under stress, with moderate periods of sitting and computer use. Good visual acuity, ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl, and standing and walking for extensive periods of time are required.

This role may require travel to a sister center, so flexibility and adaptability are essential.
