Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute account-specific growth strategies to drive business growth and increase revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and challenges, and providing prompt and compelling service proposals to address their requirements.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Morrison Express's capabilities and success stories within the client's industry of focus.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with current and prospective clients, developing relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, operations, and product leaders, to ensure alignment and effective execution of business strategies.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and timely quotations for assigned customers, working closely with Director of Account Management and Sales heads to ensure pricing alignment.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all customer requested milestones and metrics are being met to exceed client expectations.
  • Organize and lead local Customer Business Reviews.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of freight forwarding experience required – preferably within Air Import Operations.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree (Business, Management, Engineering, Transportation, or associate field), or 8-10 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent of education and experience.
  • Strong Freight Forwarding Operational Background.
  • Understanding and ability to present and sell supply chain solutions.
  • Capable of generating new sales leads and customer relationships.
