Ophthalmology Sales Specialist

Position Overview:
As a pivotal member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in managing and expanding our business within a designated territory. Your competitive spirit and outstanding sales skills will be essential in fostering relationships with leading experts, specialty healthcare professionals, and key stakeholders in the ophthalmology sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Surpass established performance metrics within your territory by crafting and executing a comprehensive business strategy that targets key accounts.
- Identify and engage with influential figures, ensuring optimal interaction with top-tier clients.
- Formulate and implement strategies that enhance the adoption and utilization of our products among suitable patient populations.
- Present up-to-date and thorough clinical brand information to healthcare providers to promote appropriate product usage.
- Cultivate a profound understanding of our products, competitors, and market dynamics at both local and regional levels.
- Assess market trends to establish both short-term and long-term objectives, creating a robust business plan for product success.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales.
- At least 2 years of experience in ophthalmology sales.
- In-depth knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, and competitive landscapes, recognized as a resource by stakeholders.
- Strong business insight and adeptness with business tools.
- Strategic and analytical thinking capabilities.
- Proven history of exceeding sales targets.
- Must reside within the designated territory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A degree in Life Sciences is advantageous.
