LGTC Group is a leading provider of mental health services, seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Specialist to join our team at our ambulatory Partial Hospitalization (PHP) / Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Programs.

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity for a motivated professional to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with eating disorders. As a Behavioral Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our clients throughout their treatment journey, from admission to discharge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome new clients and introduce them to their primary treatment team.
  • Assess and communicate unique client needs to the treatment team, ensuring those needs are addressed.
  • Contribute insightful information to support client behavior, mood, and healing process.
  • Promote client well-being by modeling positive behaviors.
  • Facilitate treatment plan execution and provide day-to-day support.
  • Lead therapeutic groups covering coping skills, relapse prevention, DBT, psychoeducation, and life skills.
  • Assist Program Director and Therapists in client care, including discharge planning and transition support.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Preferred: One year of experience in working with children, mental health, counseling, or the eating disorder field.
  • Commitment to attending training, education, and staff enrichment activities.
What We Offer
