As an Audit Senior Associate in our Real Estate group, you will be a valued business advisor delivering industry-focused audit and other assurance services to middle market clients.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit Senior Associate to join our Real Estate group. As a trusted member of the engagement team, you will provide various assurance and consulting services to industry-specific clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively engaging with clients throughout the year to gather needed information to complete testing and respond to questions raised.
  • Planning and supervising the execution of all audit engagement activities.
  • Reviewing and performing substantive testing on clients' balance sheets and income statements.
  • Conducting and reviewing tests to assess deficiencies of internal controls and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Playing an active role in discussions with the Manager and Partner relative to business recommendations resulting from testing performed and information gathered.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting or an undergraduate degree with sufficient coursework to sit for the CPA exam.
  • CPA preferred or actively pursuing completion of the exam.
  • Two (2)+ years of experience providing financial statement auditing services within a public accounting firm.
  • Demonstrated skills in the areas of time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem-solving.
  • Strong leadership, project management, organizational, and analytical skills, initiative, adaptability.
  • Microsoft Suite skills.
Compensation

The compensation range for this role is $74,141 to $130,880. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
