CAN Community Health is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Prevention Manager to join our team. As a key member of our prevention department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective HIV prevention programs, managing staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development and Implementation: Develop and implement comprehensive HIV prevention programs, including community outreach, education, and testing services.
- Staff Management: Supervise and manage a team of prevention staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating their performance.
- Community Engagement: Foster partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to promote HIV prevention services and support.
- Grant Writing and Management: Research and write grant proposals to secure funding for prevention programs, and manage grant-related activities.
- Quality Improvement: Continuously assess and improve the quality of prevention services, including monitoring program outcomes and making data-driven decisions.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as public health, social work, or a related field, and at least 2 years of experience in HIV prevention or a related field.
- Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English and Spanish (preferred).
This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will be required to work a standard schedule, with occasional evening and weekend hours as needed.
