Job Description

Role Overview:

Bahrain is seeking a seasoned professional to drive foreign direct investment initiatives in key sectors. This role involves enhancing Bahrain's economic profile by drawing in international investments, contributing to the nation's growth and global competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategies to attract and convert high-value investment leads.
  • Develop and nurture a robust pipeline of prospective investors from targeted sectors.
  • Conduct comprehensive outreach, including proactive cold calls, to generate qualified leads.
  • Coordinate closely with the Investment Development team to advance leads.
  • Engage with senior decision-makers within key markets to foster new investment relationships.
  • Host introductory meetings with potential investors to explore mutual opportunities.
  • Manage strategic DMC meetings and coordinate in-market trips.
  • Develop and manage team budgets, scheduling, and operational plans.
  • Formulate strategic partnerships to amplify investment referrals.
  • Identify new opportunities to support ecosystem growth within priority sectors.
  • Represent Bahrain as an attractive investment location through targeted activities.
  • Deliver detailed reporting and analytics on market trends and investment outcomes.
  • Implement marketing and communication plans specifically for deal generation.
  • Conduct investor qualification assessments and due diligence on potential partners.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments and emerging trends.

Requirements

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • At least seven years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated capacity to cultivate and manage client relationships.
  • Business development and investment attraction experience.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
