Key Responsibilities
  • Verify Insurance Coverage: Ensure accurate and timely verification of patient insurance coverage to facilitate smooth care delivery.
  • Process Prior Authorizations: Efficiently process prior authorization requests, utilizing strong analytical skills to evaluate medical necessity and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Providers and Health Plans: Develop strong relationships with healthcare providers and health plans to resolve utilization management and referral authorization inquiries.
  • Financial Counseling: Provide financial guidance to patients, setting up payment arrangements and following up on outstanding balances to ensure timely payment.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of direct prior authorization experience.
  • 2+ years of financial navigation or counseling experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of patients.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
