Job Summary:

As a Bus Driver with the California State Government, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers along assigned routes. Your duties will include operating a bus, inspecting the vehicle for damage, and assisting passengers with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a bus along a predetermined route, adhering to a set schedule.
  • Receive and review route and schedule information from dispatchers.
  • Conduct regular bus inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Provide assistance to passengers with disabilities, such as those who use wheelchairs.

Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
