Key Responsibilities- Develop real-time 3D transformations and improve our 3D simulation software to provide high-fidelity visualizations of complex industrial environments.
- Work on cutting-edge perception sensors and robotic systems, enabling autonomous robotic operations and multi-robot coordination.
- Design and implement algorithms for robot motion planning, trajectory generation, and control in both simulation and real-world environments.
- Process sensor data, particularly point clouds from LiDAR and motion capture systems, and efficiently manipulate and analyze large volumes of sensor data for real-time applications.
- Implement complex 3D transformations efficiently and accurately, leveraging advanced knowledge of 3D transformation principles and techniques.
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in GUI creation, with demonstrated ability to design and develop intuitive graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for visualization and interaction with sensor data.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and embedded environments, with ability to develop software and optimize code for performance and reliability in real-time applications.
- Expertise in robotics kinematics and motion control, with understanding of robotics kinematics principles and motion control techniques.
- Strong expertise in sensor data processing, with extensive experience in processing sensor data, particularly point clouds from LiDAR and motion capture systems.
- Advanced knowledge of 3D transformations, with profound understanding of 3D transformation principles and techniques.
- Experience with sensor integration, including LiDAR, cameras, and IMUs, into robotic systems, with familiarity with sensor calibration, synchronization, and data fusion techniques.
- Solid grasp of linear algebra and quaternions, with mathematical background in linear algebra, including vector spaces, matrices, and transformations.
- Knowledge of computer vision, with familiarity with computer vision techniques and algorithms for object detection, tracking, and recognition.
- Experience with software-hardware integration, with hands-on experience in integrating software with hardware systems, especially in scenarios where APIs or libraries are not available.
- Capability in debugging and troubleshooting, with proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting software and hardware issues in complex robotic systems.
- Experience with industrial robot manipulators, including KUKA, ABB, Universal Robots, etc.
- Knowledge of robotic weld systems, including programming weld paths, optimizing parameters, and ensuring weld quality.
- Expertise in robot coordination between systems, with proficiency in coordinating multiple robotic systems to perform collaborative tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with data creation and labeling, including experience with creating and labeling datasets for training machine learning models.
- Experience with industrial mobile robots, including knowledge of industrial mobile robots used for material handling, logistics, and automation applications.
- Understanding of GPU programming, including familiarity with GPU programming languages such as CUDA for parallel computing tasks.
- Proficiency in simulation environments, including experience with robotics simulation tools and environments such as ROS (Robot Operating System), Gazebo, or V-REP.
- Background in computer vision, including knowledge of computer vision techniques and algorithms for analyzing visual data from cameras and other imaging sensors.
- Interest in emerging technologies, with passion for staying updated with the latest advancements in robotics, computer graphics, and sensor technologies.
