HR Generalist Position

We are seeking a talented HR Generalist to join our team at the East-West Center. This role involves providing HR services that support the delivery of the Center's programs and activities. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of HR principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
About the RoleThis is a full-time, in-person role that requires the desired candidate to physically reside on Oahu, Hawaii. The annual salary for this position starts at $74,972.21 per year, with an attractive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings with a company match, and paid time off.
Responsibilities- Recruitment and Selection: Manage and maintain job postings, conduct interviews, and make employment recommendations.
- Talent Acquisition: Research and recommend career expos, job fairs, and other professional events to attract high-quality candidates.
- HR Administration: Provide administrative support to the HR team, including maintaining records, preparing reports, and coordinating special events.
- Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including employee counseling, performance management, and conflict resolution.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.
- At least two years of relevant HR work experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
