Aperion Care Peru is seeking a skilled Nursing Care Coordinator to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Nursing Care Coordinator is responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shift Planning: Meet with nursing staff and support personnel to plan shift services, programs, and activities.
  • nursing Record Keeping: Complete and file recordkeeping forms and charts upon admission, transfer, and discharge.
  • Medication Administration: Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians.
  • Inter-Departmental Communication: Develop and maintain good working relationships with inter-departmental personnel to ensure adequate nursing services.
  • incident Reporting: Fill out and submit accident/incident reports as required.
  • nursing Support: Provide leadership to nursing personnel and ensure they follow established safety regulations.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of resident care information and report unauthorized disclosure.

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year (estimated)

Requirements:

  • Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of Illinois.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to make independent decisions.
  • Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
  • CPR Certification.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday.
  • Ability to cope with mental and emotional stress.
  • Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift 25 pounds.
