Position Overview

We are a reputable small firm specializing in accounting, taxation, and business consultancy, currently seeking a full-time CPA with over 5 years of relevant public accounting experience.


Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual with the potential for an equity stake in the firm.


Key Responsibilities
  • Tax Preparation and Review: Handle individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary, and multi-state tax returns.
  • Tax Projections and Planning: Develop tax projections and strategic planning for both individuals and business entities.
  • Client Interaction: Address and resolve client tax notifications and inquiries from IRS or State Revenue Authorities.
  • Staff Supervision: Oversee junior staff and demonstrate strong organizational capabilities.
  • Independent Work: Ability to work autonomously while fostering relationships with client personnel.

Qualifications
  • CPA certification or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.
  • Skilled in MS Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Ultra Tax and Thomson Reuters products is advantageous.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and analytical skills.
  • Able to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and respond promptly to client inquiries.
  • Possess critical thinking, time management, and decision-making abilities.
