Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Engineer to join our team at Recruitlink. This is a dynamic role that will involve working closely with suppliers to ensure product quality, leading investigations and continuous improvement efforts, and managing supplier non-conformances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigations and Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough investigations into supplier quality problems, analyze defect trends, and implement corrective actions to prevent future issues.
  • Supplier Management: Lead containment efforts for supplier non-conformances, ensuring traceability of actions taken.
  • Quality System Compliance: Evaluate First Article Inspections and Test plans in accordance with AS9102 requirements, driving a 'Zero Defect' mentality within the supply base.
  • Mentorship and Training: Mentor junior SQEs to support their development and growth within the company.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering-related field or 10 years of relevant work experience in lieu of education.
  • 4 years of work experience in Electronics and/or Electrical Assembly manufacturing processes.
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) and proficiency in mechanical drawing interpretation, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD T), Failure Analysis, and Corrective/Preventative Actions.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 Quality Systems, and AS9102B First Article Requirements.
Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
