Instructional Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Instructional Assistant to join our team at KIPP SoCal Public Schools. As an Instructional Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our kindergarten students and teachers in achieving academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with planning and executing small group instruction to reinforce lesson objectives and prepare homework assignments.
- Implement classroom systems and routines to manage behavior and maximize student learning.
- Participate in professional development sessions and work collaboratively with lead teachers, principals, and instructional coaches.
- Develop instructional skills to become a lead teacher in the future.
- Perform other duties as assigned by school administration.
- Associate's Degree or completion of two years of schooling towards a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Passing score on the California Basic Skills Test (CBEST) preferred, or desire to take CBEST.
