Job Summary

The Chief Technology Officer of Network Operations at International Leadership of Texas will be responsible for overseeing the technological infrastructure and operations across the entire K-12 school network. This executive position requires a blend of strategic leadership, operational management, project management, and technical expertise to ensure the effective functioning of network systems, supporting the educational mission of the schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning and Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans for the network operations that align with the overall goals and objectives of ILTexas.
  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations of the IT department, including network and systems infrastructure, data center operations, cybersecurity, and user support.
  • Infrastructure and Systems Management: Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with school administrators, educators, and other stakeholders to ensure that IT services meet the educational and operational needs of the network.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including data protection and privacy regulations.
  • Innovation and Technology Integration: Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in education technology to identify opportunities for innovation.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in IT management, preferably in a K-12 educational environment, with a strong background in network and systems operations, cybersecurity, and project management.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, proficiency in network design and administration, experience with educational technologies, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration.
