Position Overview:
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) serves as the principal leader of the Industrial Asset Management Council, overseeing all operational aspects and strategic initiatives of the organization.

Organizational Role:
The CEO reports directly to the Chair of a dedicated Board of Directors, comprising 25 members, including a 7-member Executive Committee. This role involves close collaboration with a 13-member Advisory Board and a 10-member Ex-Officio Board, primarily consisting of leaders from the public sector.

Team Leadership:
The CEO will supervise a team of 4 full-time staff members, including:
- Executive Director
- Vice President of Member Services
- Manager of Accounting & Human Resources
- Director of Engagement & Business Relations
Additionally, the CEO will oversee 4 contract staff members responsible for various operational functions.

Key Relationships:
Essential working relationships include:
- Local, county, and state government officials
- Executives from member organizations and businesses
- Leaders from other chambers and economic development entities
- Educational institutions and media representatives.

Strategic Responsibilities:
The CEO will manage daily operations, provide strategic direction, enhance existing programs, and increase membership engagement. This leader will act as a key advocate for the business community, engaging with executives and government officials on significant projects and initiatives.

Community Impact:
As a dynamic suburb, the organization operates within a region known for its diverse business landscape, including health sciences, technology, and professional services. The CEO will play a crucial role in fostering relationships that enhance the quality of life and economic vitality of the community.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of leadership, with a minimum of 12 to 15 years in progressively responsible roles. Experience in working with public sector entities and a strong educational background are essential. A bachelor's degree is highly desired, and familiarity with chamber operations or economic development is advantageous.
