Job Summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to oversee the daily operations of a fast-paced lawn & garden products manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing management, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead a team to achieve bottom-line results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement process improvement methods to ensure non-stop production in an effective, safe, and profitable manner
  • Provide leadership to staff, assess performance, and direct all operational activities to ensure product quality and consistency
  • Ensure workplace safety through implementation, adherence, and enforcement of company business standards and safety programs
  • Assist with maintaining a quality control program to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Prepare and maintain production records as needed
Requirements
  • 2+ years of manufacturing management experience
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience in wood/pulp/mulch manufacturing preferred
