The Clinical Care Nurse will be tasked with providing essential patient care across multiple clinics within the healthcare network. This role is pivotal in ensuring that established protocols and practices are adhered to while delivering quality service to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and administrative personnel to enhance patient care coordination.
- Manage patient flow effectively, including scheduling appointments, procedures, tests, and referrals.
- Potentially mentor and guide new clinical staff as a preceptor.
- Utilize established guidelines to execute tasks efficiently.
- Draw upon previous experience and judgment to fulfill job responsibilities.
- Operate under general supervision while potentially leading and directing the activities of others within the scope of practice.
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited LPN program.
- Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as computer literacy.
- Current licensure as an LPN in the state of Louisiana or possess a valid work permit, along with BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
