Key Responsibilities- Inspect and Test Products: Conduct visual and mechanical inspections of products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Measure and Verify Dimensions: Use precision instruments to measure and verify dimensions of products, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Identify and Report Defects: Identify defects and nonconforming products, and report them to the quality team for further action.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Maintain Quality Records: Accurately maintain and update quality records, including inspection reports, test results, and defect reports.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of three years of experience as an inspector in an aerospace environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, basic internet applications, and ability to navigate electronic file structures.
- Certifications and Training: Completion of Inspection Delegation Program (IDP) for In-Process and Receiving Inspection.
