Job Summary

Central Carolina Hospital is seeking a skilled Clinical Support Nurse to join our Women's Clinic team. As a Clinical Support Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients under the supervision of our physicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support to patients in the Women's Clinic, ensuring continuity and appropriate care.
  • Operate and maintain medical equipment, including pulse oximeters, EKG machines, and nebulizers.
  • Perform phlebotomy and document results.
  • Obtain prior authorization for medications, testing, and procedures.
  • Triage incoming clinical phone calls and messages from patients.
  • Maintain proper inventory of medical supplies.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Registered Nurse licensure in North Carolina (or compact state) required.
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
