Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dialysis Clinic Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of our Clinical Advancement Program.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for an assigned group of hemodialysis patients.
- Participate in decision-making, teaching, leadership functions, and quality improvement activities that enhance patient care outcomes and facility operations.
- Administer medications as prescribed or in accordance with approved algorithm(s), and document appropriate medical justification and effectiveness.
- Initiate or assist with emergency response measures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients and staff.
- Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team on the patient care plan, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Ensure patient awareness related to transplant and treatment modality options, providing education and support to patients and their families.
- Complete CAP requirements to either maintain or advance within the program, demonstrating a commitment to professional growth and development.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current appropriate state licensure.
- Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
- Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.
- Qualities and traits: compassion, caring, support for colleagues, collaborative, reliable.
- Experience as a Registered Nurse (preferred but not required).
- Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience (preferred but not required).
- Successfully pass the Ishihara Color Blind Test.

The position provides direct patient care that regularly involves heavy lifting, moving of patients and assisting with ambulation. Equipment aids and/or coworkers may provide assistance.
The employee may occasionally be required to move, with assistance, machines and equipment of up to 200 lbs., and may lift chemical and water solutions of up to 30 lbs. as high as 5 feet.
The work environment is characteristic of a health care facility with air temperature control and moderate noise levels.
The position may require travel to training sites or other facilities.
