Job Summary:
We're seeking a Clinical Support Specialist to provide clinical support to patients in our physician practice. As a key member of our team, you'll work under the supervision of our physicians to provide continuity and appropriate care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate or learn to operate medical equipment, including pulse oximeters, EKG machines, and nebulizers.
- Provide age-appropriate care to patients, including phlebotomy and basic lab procedures.
- Manage electronic health records and maintain accurate documentation.
- Triage incoming clinical phone calls and messages from patients.
- Maintain proper inventory of medical supplies.
Requirements:
- Associates degree required; bachelors degree preferred.
- Registered Nurse in North Carolina (or compact state) required.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
