Position Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations in Toledo, OH. This role is pivotal in managing production staff and ensuring adherence to our stringent quality control standards. The Production Supervisor will report directly to the Production Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Oversight:
- Track and achieve daily production targets.
- Communicate production objectives to team members at the beginning of each shift.
- Compile and present regular reports on production performance, including metrics and challenges.
- Manage job documentation and ERP entries accurately.
- Facilitate effective communication during shift transitions with other supervisors.
- Ensure the safe operation of machinery and tools.
- Submit maintenance requests for necessary repairs.

- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
- Encourage open dialogue and mutual respect among team members.

- Health and Safety Compliance:

- Quality Assurance:
- Educate team members on quality standards and best practices.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and audits.

- Customer Engagement:

- Collaborate with various departments to meet operational requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
- Associate's degree with at least 5 years of relevant supervisory experience.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, particularly second shift hours.
- Proven leadership skills with a focus on team development.
- Strong understanding of safety and quality regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proficient in ERP systems and computer applications.
