Job Summary

St. Anthony Regional Hospital seeks a skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our mental health department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and analyze patient data to determine the nature and extent of mental disorders.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.
  • Provide consultation to patients and professional colleagues as requested.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards of conduct.
Requirements
  • Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited medical school.
  • Completed an approved residency in psychiatry.
  • License to practice medicine in the State of Iowa.
  • Board eligibility or board certification in General Psychiatry recognized by ABMS.
