Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in an Outpatient Clinic located in Carrollton, Georgia. As a Psychiatric or Mental Health Registered Nurse, you will work as part of a team to provide total medical care for patients. Your primary responsibilities will include evaluating the mental health needs of patients, facilitating and conducting contraband searches, monitoring and conducting timely evaluations of the mental health environment of care, developing treatment plans, providing psychotherapy services and personal care, coordinating with families, doctors, and other health professionals, and administering medications as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years current experience in an inpatient psychiatric unit
- Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or in a related field or a master's degree in Nursing or in related field is highly preferred
Work Environment:
This is a Full-time position with eight (8), ten (10), or twelve (12)-hour shifts or a combination, with rotating weekends and holidays. You may be required to work with COVID-19-positive patients and Patients Under Investigation (PUI) for COVID-19.
