Job Title: Electrical Sales Manager

At Veterans Electrical Solutions, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Sales Manager to lead our government sales efforts. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the growth of our company.

Job Summary:

The Electrical Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to secure and manage government contracts. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of government procurement processes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company growth objectives in the government sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key government agencies and procurement officials.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of bids, proposals, and RFQs/RFPs for government projects.
  • Oversee the negotiation and administration of government contracts.
  • Manage contract modifications, amendments, and renewals.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals focused on government contracts.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in government sales, preferably within the electrical contracting or construction industry.
  • Proven track record of securing and managing government contracts.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Work Environment:

This position typically works in an office setting, but frequent visits to government offices and job sites are required. Occasional travel may be necessary.
