If so, join our dynamic Technology team at Salesforce as an Engineering Excellence leader (Director of Engineering).

Your role will involve analyzing a wide range of quality and security metrics across multiple teams, designing and implementing strategies for continuous improvement, and helping teams inspect, adapt, deliver, and mature. You'll demonstrate your quality approach and coaching expertise to facilitate the process and partner with internal customers within the Technology organization.

As an Engineering excellence group, we support scrum teams with industry-leading technology, standard methodologies, and operational excellence. We seek a leader accountable for our software quality and trust outcomes, who uses an analytical approach to drive quality processes and collaborate with engineering and product teams to reduce toil and strengthen development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Scale the execution of 'Engineering and Operational excellence' charter across a 1000+ member organization.
  2. Analyze various quality and trust signals across 100+ scrum teams to identify improvement opportunities.
  3. Enable our teams to meet our security commitments, including SLAs for vulnerability and bug remediation, to ensure known security risks are addressed quickly.
  4. Collaborate with key partners and optimize development processes and systems to achieve better results.
  5. Be accountable for our Cloud's Quality practices and Trust outcomes.
  6. Use different levels of coaching to support our scrum teams.
  7. Show own impact by using metrics.
  8. Create, launch, and facilitate collaborative Quality Working groups.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of working experience in technology organizations.
  • 2+ years of experience running large transformational programs cutting across teams.
  • Good understanding of 'Information security' principles and practices.
  • Hands-on experience applying Quality methodologies within many development teams.
  • Excellent presentation and training skills.

Compensation:

The base salary hiring range for this position is $223,000 - $323,400. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.
