Vice President of Finance

Organization:
Flik Independent School Dining (FISD)

Position Overview: In the role of Vice President of Finance at Flik Independent School Dining (FISD), you will oversee all financial operations of a dynamic division comprising over 3,600 staff members and generating revenues exceeding $300 million. You will serve as a strategic ally to the Division President, concentrating on fostering profitable expansion through new business ventures, client retention, and process enhancements. This position reports directly to the Division President and collaborates closely with the CFO and Sales Teams to enhance growth, profitability, and cash flow. This is an exceptional opportunity to influence FISD's development and promote a premier hospitality culture. We are in search of a committed leader who embodies our organizational values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a financial consultant and business collaborator
  • Lead a team of finance experts
  • Drive innovation and efficiency in processes
  • Work with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
  • Assist Sales and the Division President in deal structuring and client negotiations
  • Assess new business prospects and oversee contract management
  • Conduct specialized projects and analyses
  • Mentor and develop operational teams
  • Review and interpret financial statements
  • Expand the Finance team
  • Coordinate with various departments as necessary
Qualifications - Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • 10+ years of experience in financial management
  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred
  • Prior experience in a comparable industry with revenues over $300 million
  • Knowledge of the food service sector is advantageous
  • Background in public accounting preferred
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
  • Practical experience in process enhancement and project oversight
  • Willingness to travel (20%)
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building capabilities
