The Deputy Chief Investigator is a critical role within the Pre-Trial Services Unit of the District Court. The successful candidate will be responsible for interviewing defendants, verifying background information, and monitoring defendants released on bail. Additionally, they will refer defendants to community providers, prepare written and verbal court reports, and provide information to judges. The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing, organizational, and computer skills, with prior work experience in the Judicial system or a similar field.

As a Deputy Chief Investigator, you will work closely with community providers to secure placement for defendants and maintain consistent contact with them. You will also perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Judge of the District Court or their designee. This role requires a Bachelor's Degree, with a Master's Degree preferred.
