Homecare Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Homecare Nurse to join our team at Interim HealthCare of Augusta. As a Homecare Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to patients in their homes, focusing on private duty nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer nursing care to patients in their homes, following physician orders and patient plans of care.
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior to supervisors and physicians.
- Communicate with collaborating physicians and specialists regarding patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Document care provided in real-time, maintaining accurate patient medical records.
Requirements:
- Active Georgia RN or LPN nursing license.
- At least one year of prior home health care experience.
- BLS CPR certification.
- Prior experience in chronic disease management is preferred.
