We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a Seasonal 'Traveler' role in HomeCare. This is a temporary, per diem position that offers flexibility and opportunities for growth.

The Role:

The Seasonal 'Traveler' RN will work at least 24 hours per week in HomeCare, with the opportunity to stay per diem with MaineGeneral Health when the assignment is completed. The schedule and travel area can change every 12 weeks.

This position comes with generous pay differentials comparable to traveler pay, as well as benefits and opportunities for career mobility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to patients in the HomeCare setting, using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Active Maine RN licensure or ability to obtain same in a timely fashion.
  • At least 2 years of recent HomeCare experience in the home setting.
  • Valid Maine state driver's license with acceptable driving record according to MGH Policy.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
