Summary: The Sales Support Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting Sales Specialists with their daily operations. This position requires collaboration with various departments and a commitment to fostering positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and logistics partners, while maintaining a professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting Functions: Responsible for daily billing processes, monitoring accounts receivable, overseeing accounts payable, and resolving open issues.
  • Freight Management: Handle freight invoices and utilize the freight management system effectively.
  • Customer Interaction: Engage in daily communications with clients, suppliers, and transportation services.
  • Sales Assistance: Provide support to assigned Sales Specialists as required.
  • Order Management: Oversee purchase orders, transfer entries, receiving, and invoicing tasks.
  • Month-End Closing: Conduct the month-end closing activities for the designated Sales Specialists.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to thrive in a multi-tasking environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Preferred: At least one year of experience in sales support or two years in customer service.
  • Accounting or bookkeeping knowledge is advantageous.
