Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to join our team at GRN Piedmont. As a key member of our operations and engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects and programs from concept inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage projects and programs to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Act as the main customer contact for all items in the launch phase, providing consistent communication and ensuring project objectives are met.
  • Develop and implement methods, procedures, and timing for product launches, EC's, VAVE, and CI activities.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure project success and maintain budget objectives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including open issues, timing, key contacts, EC history, tooling, cost data, and customer development.
  • Coordinate and monitor program documentation, including APQP, Control Plan, PFMEA, Process Flow, and Customer Test Specifications.
  • Manage quoting activities for assigned customers and programs.
  • Ensure new tooling meets our Tool Design Standard.
  • Interface with customers and suppliers to improve or provide feedback on part, material, and tooling designs.
  • Responsible for Program Launch Key Measures and results.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in plastics manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience in customer interface/account management, plastic processing in the plastic industry preferred.
  • Demonstrate formal Program Management experience.
  • Knowledge or experience in thermoforming and/or injection molding.
  • Possess a good knowledge of plastic materials, properties, usages, and limitations.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Experience with GD&T, blueprint reading.
  • Knowledge or experience in automotive final appearance is beneficial.
  • Must have very good customer service skills and be able to effectively interact with all departments and diverse personalities.
