Essential Certifications and Licenses:
Must hold and maintain:
  • Medical license from the State of New Mexico with hospital admitting privileges.
  • DEA license, CSR, Medicare, and Medicaid identification numbers.
  • BLS/CPR or ACLS certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Preferred board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
Alternatively:
  • Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program.
Essential Certifications and Licenses:
Must hold and maintain:
  • New Mexico Board of Nursing license as a Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist.
  • DEA license, CSR, Medicare, Medicaid, BLS/CPR or ACLS certification within 30 days of employment.
Alternatively:
  • Completion of a Physician Assistant program.
Essential Certifications and Licenses:
Must hold and maintain:
  • New Mexico Board of Medical Examiners license as a Physician Assistant.
  • Collaborative Physician Assistant Licensure.
  • DEA license, CSR, Medicare, Medicaid, BLS/CPR or ACLS certification within 30 days of employment.
Screening Criteria:
  • Adherence to mandatory testing and immunization protocols. Background check for compliance with Checkerboard Area Health System.
Physical Requirements:
  • Potential travel for conferences and meetings. Capability to perform daily tasks such as standing, bending, and operating office equipment. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and possess good vision and hearing capabilities.
