Job Summary

LX Pantos America, Inc. is a leading provider of Value Added Logistics Solutions on a Global Scale. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Human Resources Manager to join our team in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to managers and staff regarding employee interactions, performance evaluations, professional growth, organizational culture, and morale.
  • Propose, implement and interpret HR policies and protocols.
  • Oversee and offer counsel on employee relations matters, support leadership in coaching, mediation and problem solving.
  • Maintain and manage employment policies & procedures, compensation, employee benefits, and other HR programs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor regulations, as well as company guidelines and protocols.
  • Manage general employee relations issues and investigations as well as performance improvement plans.
  • Oversee employee recruiting/exit activities, employee benefits/wage & salary programs, employee recognition, employee referral, and employee wellness programs.
  • Administer and provide recordkeeping of all safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations.
  • Oversee payroll processing through ADP system and provide payroll report and analysis regularly.
  • Perform Workers' Compensation/Safety claims filing and report in support of NJ Headquarter and Distribution Center Manager.
  • Administer Unemployment Compensation process and documentation and represent company in unemployment compensation/ insurance matters.
  • Conduct new employee orientations and appropriate employee training programs.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of employee benefit programs such as enrolling/ terminating health plans and leave of absence.
  • Stay up-to-date on federal, state, and local regulations governing employee benefits such as ERISA, ACA, HIPAA and COBRA.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
Requirements
  • Bilingual in Korean and English required.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor degree (HR Management degree is a plus, but not required).
  • Minimum of 9~10 years of HR management experience.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR Certification preferred.
  • Substantial knowledge of State & Federal labor laws.
  • Maintain confidentiality and sensitive information.
  • Demonstrated strong proficiency in and use of Computer skills - Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and Power Point.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Be able to travel to other states and foreign countries.
  • Be able to work after business hours when required.
