Position Overview:
OWN is in search of a dedicated Human Resources Operations Specialist to become a vital member of our global HR team. This entry-level role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals enthusiastic about human resources and eager to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding utilizing our HRIS, Workday.
- Organize, facilitate, and execute logistics for new hire orientation sessions.
- Ensure prompt verification of I9s and completion of onboarding and offboarding documentation in compliance with payroll and regulatory deadlines.
- Take full responsibility for HRIS data entry and the upkeep of employee personnel records across various regions.
- Enable HR stakeholders and cross-functional partners regarding new and existing processes.
- Document process modifications, Workday system configurations, and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain data quality and integrity through processing controls and regular audits.
- Address internal and external inquiries or requests received in the HR team inbox.
- Conduct employment verifications, exit interviews, manage ad-hoc reporting requests, and contribute to HR initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Information Systems.
- 1-2 years of experience (including internships) in an HR or data and systems-oriented role.
- Familiarity with Workday or other HR systems is advantageous.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy.
- Team player with a proactive attitude and problem-solving capabilities.
This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will work from our Englewood Cliffs, NJ office a minimum of three days per week to enhance collaboration and interaction with the team. Travel may be required.
Compensation and Benefits:
OWN is committed to fostering an environment where employees flourish. Base pay is just one component of the comprehensive compensation package provided to recognize and reward employees for their contributions.
This role may also qualify for unlimited PTO, generous health benefits, a 401(k) savings plan with a 4% employer match, discretionary bonuses/incentives, and stock options.
We also provide catered lunches in the office five days a week, access to a full fitness center, and complimentary shuttle bus service to and from New York City.
