Pediatric Physical Therapist - PRN

CORA offers comprehensive pediatric therapy services for children facing challenges such as gait issues, balance difficulties, motor skill delays, and various medical conditions including genetic, neurological, and orthopedic disorders.

As a PRN Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will engage in direct patient care across diverse environments, including outpatient facilities, educational institutions, and Early Intervention programs. Your responsibilities will encompass conducting initial assessments, setting achievable objectives, and formulating tailored treatment strategies to advance patients along their care pathways.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Possession of a valid physical therapist state license (or pending application).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated work ethic in both independent and team-oriented environments.
  • Willingness to travel and work in various treatment settings including outpatient pediatrics and schools.
  • Basic understanding of treatment models used in educational and Early Intervention contexts.
  • Experience in school settings is preferred but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough and compassionate evaluations for new patients, set realistic goals, and create actionable treatment plans.
  • Deliver ongoing physical therapy services that align with treatment plans, IEPs, and IFSPs as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and relevant patient interactions in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Skillfully advance patients through treatment stages according to their individual capabilities.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and care teams to enhance the treatment experience.
  • Educate and empower patients, families, and caregivers regarding their care.
