Position Overview

Pediatric Physical Therapist - PRN

CORA offers comprehensive pediatric services tailored for children facing challenges such as gait abnormalities, balance issues, gross motor delays, and various genetic, neurological, neuromuscular, and orthopedic conditions.

As a PRN Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will deliver direct care to patients across diverse treatment environments, including outpatient clinics, educational institutions, and Early Intervention programs. Your responsibilities will encompass conducting initial assessments, setting achievable goals, and formulating suitable treatment strategies while guiding patients through their care journey.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Current state licensure as a physical therapist (applications in progress are acceptable).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated work ethic in both independent and collaborative environments.
  • Willingness to travel and work in various treatment settings, including outpatient pediatrics, schools, and Early Intervention.
  • Basic understanding of treatment models used in educational and Early Intervention contexts.
  • Experience in school settings is preferred but not mandatory.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough and compassionate evaluations for new patients, set realistic goals, and create actionable treatment plans.
  • Deliver ongoing physical therapy services that align with treatment plans, IEPs, and IFSPs as applicable.
  • Document all evaluations, treatments, and relevant patient interactions in accordance with company policies and local regulations.
  • Skillfully advance patients through treatment levels based on their individual capabilities.
  • Engage with patients, families, and care teams to foster a more impactful and sustainable treatment experience.
  • Educate and empower patients, families, and caregivers.
  • Pursue professional development through involvement in professional organizations, workshops, and conferences.
