Pediatric Physical Therapist - PRN

As a PRN Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will deliver direct care to patients across diverse environments, including outpatient facilities, educational institutions, and Early Intervention programs. Your responsibilities will encompass conducting initial assessments, setting achievable objectives, and formulating tailored treatment strategies to guide patients through their recovery journey.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Current state licensure as a physical therapist (pending applications are acceptable).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated work ethic in both independent and team settings.
  • Willingness to travel and work in various treatment environments, including outpatient pediatrics, schools, and Early Intervention.
  • Basic understanding of treatment methodologies relevant to educational and Early Intervention contexts.
  • Experience in school settings is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Conduct thorough and compassionate evaluations for new patients, set realistic goals, and create actionable treatment plans.
  • Deliver ongoing physical therapy services that align with treatment plans, IEPs, and IFSPs as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and relevant patient interactions in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Effectively progress patients through treatment stages based on their individual capabilities.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and care teams to enhance the treatment experience.
  • Educate and empower patients, families, and caregivers.
  • Pursue continuous professional development through participation in professional organizations, workshops, and conferences.
