Comprehensive Eye Care Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our team at the Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks in Fort Smith, AR.
Salary and BenefitsThe annual salary for this role is estimated to be around **$120,000 - $180,000**, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

As an Optometrist with the Department of Veterans Affairs, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment providing comprehensive eye care services to our nation's veterans.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting routine eye exams and follow-up care for existing conditions
- Managing emergency eye care situations
- Developing treatment plans and prescribing medications as necessary
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A U.S. citizenship (or consideration as a non-citizen candidate)
- Completion of an Optometry residency training program
- A full and unrestricted license from any U.S. state
- Board certification or board eligibility (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
