Site Leader for Learning and Development in a Regulated Environment

**Job Summary**

Lilly is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director to lead the Learning and Development (L&D) function for our Manufacturing and Quality (M&Q) site. As a key member of the site leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive L&D strategy that drives business results and enhances employee capabilities.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and maintain a site-specific L&D strategy that aligns with Lilly's overall business objectives.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify training needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of training programs, including instructor-led training, e-learning, and on-the-job training.
  • Manage the L&D budget and ensure effective use of resources.
  • Collaborate with other site leaders to ensure alignment and consistency in L&D initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to support L&D initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in L&D and apply that knowledge to drive business results.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Human Resources, Training, Education, Operations, Science, or Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in L&D, SOP business processes, or Leadership Development.
  • 2+ years of experience in an L&D role in a regulated industry, such as manufacturing and quality.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Experience in developing SOPs and training materials for a greenfield site.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and drive change.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in strategic thinking and proactive strategic learning and development consultation.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong business relationships at leadership levels both internally and externally.
  • Ability and willingness to challenge business leadership regarding ways to use learning interventions to most effectively meet business requirements.
  • Knowledge of regulations pertaining to training and development in a GMP environment.
  • Experience supporting or participating in audits and inspections.
  • Experience using Success Factors or other Learning Management Systems.
