About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director to lead our Learning and Development (L&D) function for our Manufacturing and Quality (M&Q) site. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive L&D strategy that drives business results and enhances organizational capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a site-specific L&D strategy that aligns with corporate objectives and quality standards.
  • Partner with business area/function leadership to define personnel qualification requirements, evaluate the effectiveness of learning interventions, and identify performance improvement opportunities.
  • Lead performance improvement initiatives to identify capability gaps and implement solutions that drive business results.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive and influence L&D process improvements that impact results.
  • Ensure alignment between the learning strategy, learning portfolio, and curriculum architecture for process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Interface with auditors, inspectors, and regulators to ensure compliance with training and development regulations.
Leadership Expectations
  • Foster an inclusive workplace and engaged workforce.
  • Participate in L&D talent management processes and ensure team members are developing in their capabilities.
  • Ensure the team meets safety, compliance, quality, and ethics expectations.
  • Monitor departmental metrics and business partner satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (such as Human Resources, Training, Education, Operations, Science, or Engineering).
  • 5+ years of experience in Learning and Development, SOP business processes, or Leadership Development.
  • 2+ years of experience in an L&D role in a regulated industry (such as manufacturing and quality).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in developing SOPs and training materials for a greenfield site.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and drive change.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in strategic thinking and proactive strategic learning and development consultation.
